By accepting these terms, you agree to use Sigillarium in accordance with the rules described below. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the application.
Sigillarium is published by Loïc MUGUET, entrepreneur individuel (EI), 173 rue de Courcelles, 75017 Paris, France (SIREN 804 839 603), hereinafter "Sigillarium" or "we". See the legal notice.
By downloading, installing, or using the Sigillarium application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Sigillarium ("we", "our", "us").
Sigillarium is a mobile digital vault application that allows you to:
Sigillarium requires no account. There are no credentials and no password to entrust to us. Access to your vault is protected by your device's biometrics or passcode; a screen lock is required.
You are responsible for:
Important: the key that encrypts your vault is generated on your device and never leaves it — that is what guarantees nobody else, including us, can read your documents. In return, the contents of the vault do not survive a change of device, including through a migration tool, unless you have exported it.
Exporting creates an encrypted archive and a backup key. You alone are responsible for keeping the archive and its key: without the key, the archive is permanently unreadable, and we can neither recover nor reset it.
You agree to use Sigillarium only for lawful purposes. It is prohibited to:
The free version lets you keep up to 10 documents and 50 MB in the vault, and apply a watermark with free text in a standard style with adjustable opacity. Backing up and restoring the vault is free; restoring is subject to these limits, and documents beyond them remain in the archive, which can be read without the app using the tool published on this site.
The Premium subscription lifts the vault limits and unlocks full watermark customization. It is managed through app stores (App Store, Google Play) and their respective terms apply.
Refunds are subject to App Store or Google Play policies. Contact us at support@sigillarium.app for any questions.
The Sigillarium application, its code, design, and features are the exclusive property of Sigillarium and are protected by intellectual property laws. Your documents remain your property.
Sigillarium is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law:
Important: Since your documents are stored on your device, we recommend exporting your vault regularly (Settings › Vault backup) and keeping the archive and its key in a safe place. Sigillarium is not responsible for the loss of local data, nor of an archive or its key.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it, and cancel your subscription from your Google Play or App Store account. As there is no account to suspend, we reserve the right to refuse service in case of violation of these Terms.
We may modify these Terms periodically. As we do not have your email address, we cannot notify you directly: any significant change will be published on this page and flagged in the app. Continued use of the application after modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to competent French courts.
