Deleting Your Data

Sigillarium asks for no account. There is therefore no account to delete: we hold no name, no email address and no password. This page explains where your data actually lives and how to get rid of it.

ℹ️ In short

Everything about you is on your device. Uninstalling the app erases all of your documents, seals and preferences. No request to us is needed.

1. Your documents — on your device only

⚠️ Warning: irreversible action

Your documents are encrypted with a key that never leaves your device. Nobody, including us, can recover them. Export what matters before deleting anything.

Two ways to erase them:

2. What we hold — almost nothing

The only record concerning you is that of your subscription, at our provider RevenueCat. It is attached to a random identifier specific to your installation, containing no personal information.

That identifier is visible in the app: Settings → Support ID. It is the only existing handle, and it cannot be traced back to you.

If you want that record erased, send us the identifier:

📧 Erasure request

Send your request to:

privacy@sigillarium.app

Paste the Support ID shown in the app's settings. Without it we have no way to find the record.

3. Data retained (legal obligations)

Transactions and invoices linked to a subscription are kept for the period required by accounting and tax law. They are held by Google Play or the App Store, which bill the subscription. Such data cannot be erased on request before that period ends.

4. Your subscription

Your premium subscription is managed by the app store, not by us:

Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it from the store, otherwise billing continues. No refund is issued for a period already paid, in line with store terms.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

The GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection and restriction. For Sigillarium these rights cover a very small scope: there is no account, no profile, no browsing history and no identifying data to access or correct.

Your documents are under your sole control, on your device: we have no access to them, including under legal compulsion.

6. Frequently asked questions

❓ Do I need to delete an account before uninstalling?

No. There is no account. Uninstalling is enough.

❓ Will my documents be deleted automatically?

Yes, on uninstall. They live in the app's private folder; the system removes them with it. Make sure you have exported what matters.

❓ If I reinstall the app, do I get my documents back?

No. The encryption key is destroyed with the app. The same applies when changing phone, including through a migration tool: the vault contents do not survive. That is the price of nobody but your device being able to read your documents.

❓ Is my subscription cancelled if I uninstall?

No. You must cancel it from Google Play or the App Store (see section 4).
